How to install Hugo in Ubuntu?

First uninstall hugo (if you have installed previously)
sudo apt-get remove hugo
sudo apt-get purge hugo
sudo snap remove hugo

Install hugo
wget https://github.com/gohugoio/hugo/releases/download/v0.50/hugo_extended_0.50_Linux-64bit.deb && sudo apt install ./hugo_extended_0.50_Linux-64bit.deb

check version
hugo version

  	You should see something like this
	  Hugo Static Site Generator v0.50/extended linux/amd64 BuildDate: 2018-10-29T10:09:56Z

How to install hugo in mac?

uninstall previous hugo
    brew uninstall hugo

install older version of hugo -
    brew install https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/5441fa16872c9a56bd5997558df45b808f13285b/Formula/hugo.rb

check version:
hugo version

  	You should see something like this
	  Hugo Static Site Generator v0.55.2/extended darwin/amd64 BuildDate: unknown

Pre req:

pip install runipy
pip install jupyterlab
pip install jupyter

How to start?

runipy make.ipynb
hugo server -D
hugo

How to publish?

change the conf:

go to conf.toml and change these:
baseURL = "https://<your-github-handle>.github.io/<your-repository-name>/"
title = "Your Name"
