Kact Among Us
Objective:
- Identify the imposters among your teammates through clever description, deduction, and voting — while imposters try to stay hidden!.
Roles:
- 2 Imposters – Pretend to know the word and avoid getting caught.
- Crewmates – Work together to identify the imposters.
Word Assignment:
- Crewmates will be given a Common Word (e.g., “Coffee”).
- Imposters will be given the word “Imposter”.
- Words should be assigned secretly by the moderator.
Gameplay Structure:
Round Format (3 Rounds Total):
- Each player gives one short clue/description about their word per round, without directly stating or obviously revealing the word.
- Everyone listens carefully to see who sounds “off” or inconsistent.
- Example for word “Coffee”:
- Clue 1: “Many people need this to start their day.”
- Clue 2: “Often comes with milk or sugar.”
- Avoid saying the word directly or using rhyming hints like “starts with C”.
Voting Rules:
Optional Voting (During the Round):
- If a player is suspicious during the round, anyone can call a vote to eliminate them.
- Team discusses briefly, then votes anonymously or openly.
- Majority vote = Player eliminated.
Mandatory Voting (After Every Round):
- At the end of each round, there will be mandatory voting.
- All players must vote to eliminate one person.
- In case of a tie, the moderator may break the tie or skip the elimination for that round (optional rule).
Winning Conditions:
Crewmates Win if:
- Both imposters are identified and eliminated within 3 rounds.
Imposters Win if:
- At least one imposter survives until the end of 3 rounds.
- OR too many crewmates are eliminated, and imposters are in equal numbers.
Rules & Conduct:
- No revealing your word directly, even if you’re eliminated.
- Maintain a fun and respectful environment — it’s a game!
- Do not give clues that are overly vague or disruptive (e.g., “thing”, “object”, “I can’t say”).
Tips for Crewmates:
- Listen for inconsistencies or generic clues.
- Watch body language and confidence in delivery.
Tips for Imposters:
- Be vague, but not too vague.
- Echo ideas from crewmates to blend in.
- Give clues that could loosely fit the real word.
