We’re looking for an energetic Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive customer acquisition, partnerships, and growth in India and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities for Kactii’s GenAI marketplace (SME clients in India & Canada).
- Build and maintain relationships with SME decision-makers (founders, managers, tech leads).
- Educate prospects on the value of AI agent automation and Kactii’s marketplace offerings.
- Collaborate with the Kactii Academy team to drive corporate training partnerships, campus outreach, and GenAI upskilling initiatives.
- Research and map target industries (manufacturing, retail, services, startups, etc.) for AI adoption opportunities.
- Pitch Kactii’s solutions through demos, presentations, and proposals.
- Achieve and exceed sales/revenue targets, report weekly on pipeline progress.
- Collect customer feedback to help the product team refine marketplace features.
- Represent Kactii at networking events, startup forums, and SME associations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus but not mandatory).
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client relations (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English mandatory; Hindi/Tamil/French is a plus for regional outreach).
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Interest in AI, SaaS, and digital transformation.
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with CRM tools, LinkedIn outreach, and lead-generation techniques.
- Enthusiasm for both SME business challenges and GenAI education initiatives.
